I don't like sweet tea, and I just discovered my love for key lime pie. I have a love-hate relationship with my sewing machine. I married Daniel in March of 2010. We now live in the suburbs of Memphis with our two furry children, Layla and Aly. We cheer for Mississippi State football and Memphis Tiger basketball. I am doing this for no reason in Particular. A little back ground of what is going on in my life. Daniel and I have been married a little over a year now. We bought a 27 year old house in Germantown last May. We spend most of our time and money "fixing her up". Luckily Daniel is very handy and enjoys doing work around the house! We live approximately 1.39 miles from my in-laws (but whose counting)! My parents live about 30 minutes away, and I go to their house a few times a week on my lunch break. We are members of Germantown United Methodist, where you can find us most every Sunday morning and evening. <br />I work in sales at a safety products company, and Daniel is working as an expense analyst for a relocation company. He is also about half way through his MBA program. He will be graduating in October of 2012! <br />I recently purchased a sewing machine. The only sewing lessons I have had were a few summer camps when I was little, so now I follow other blogs looking for tips and ideas for beginners. So far I have sewn a few burp cloths, a window valance, a quilt, and a dress for my niece, Eliza. I also enjoy cooking and trying out new recipes. Last night I made my first batch of fried green tomatoes.
